Hackers Help: How to use ELVARLI posts for a room divider curtain?

I’d love help with a hack. I need to divide a area, without putting anything( jailers, nails, etc) into the wall or ceiling. I considered I’d put up a apartment divider curtain using ELVARLI announces.

My question- any ideas of which pole to consume horizontally on the ELVARLI berths to hang the draperies from?( The ELVARLI robes rail is too short. I’d like to be able to space the posts 80 inches apart)

Thanks!

Hi Miri

For a start, I want to clarify that the ELVARLI posts do need to be secured to the ceiling if you follow IKEA’s regulations. Nothing too crazy. Exactly 2 shafted depressions per announce. Depending on the textile, curtains can be heavy and precisely relying on the horizontal tension of the poles may not be enough to keep them steady.

Anyways, back to your question: Which robes rail to be applied for your office divider pall? I observed the RACKA drapery rod to be long enough to span 80 ”.

But then how to fix it to the ELVARLI posts? I took a second look at the ELVARLI invests rail and watched that it is attached to the shelf above, instead of the posts.

So we’ll got to find an alternative nature to hang up a shroud perch. I guess the ELVARLI hooks may do the trick. Now, instead of installing the ELVARLI announces with the slots facing one another, turn them outwards( or downwards, depending on which back you miss your apartment divider screen to be ). Slot in the hookings and place the RACKA shroud baton on the hooks. Voila! Easy peasy. I time hope the secures are large enough for the rod’s diameter.

One last thing, 80 ” is quite a bit of length. I would suggest coming a third berth( and secure) and sitting it in between the 2 posts to aid hold up the heavines of the shrouds and prevent any sags. But you could probably begin with two posts and be seen to what extent it does. If the draperies hold up beautifully, then keep forgetting about the third largest leg.

Let us know how it goes.

Happy hacking,
