The summer season can be a slippery meter for domesticateds and with the most recent weather predictions exposing that the heatwave in Britain is set to stay for another two weeks, and temperatures soaring up to 33 severities, it’s important to keep your domesticateds cool and calm.

Be sure to tread your pup either early in the morning or late at night as sizzling sidewalks can burn tender paws. Even at cooler periods of the day, the sidewalk can still be heated so try to keep to the shade, wherever possible. If it’s too hot for you to hold the palm of your hand against the sidewalk, it will most certainly be too hot for your dog to accompany on.

2. Identify the coolest areas in your dwelling

Keep your babies as pleasant as is practicable by encouraging them to stay in the coolest the regions of your home. Chambers with tiled floorings can provide a good gap for them to tighten away from the sunlight, whilst cooling mattings and humid towels can help keep their body temperature down.
